Fishing on Lido Key picking up after storm

We had a late season cold front move through mid week, shutting down fishing for a couple of days. The bite was steady before the weather moved through, with clients on Lido Key fishing charters catching speckled trout to 20", pompano, jacks, snapper, bluefish, flounder, grouper, and ladyfish on both live shrimp and artificial lures. I got back out on Friday to find the water pretty "dirty", which was no surprise after the severe storms. However, fishing was steady in Big Pass on the south side of Lido Key as well as in Robert's Bay and at the Middlegrounds. Speckled trout, jacks gag grouper, mangrove snapper, bluefish, and plenty of ladyfish kept the rods bent.
